So a little bit of catch up…
They finished my floors. It’s so nice to walk into my house and see that I now have floors throughout that all match. No halfway carpet that still reeks of dog piss from “indoor potty trained mutts”.
But none the less… It’s completed.
I can’t be happier. Least as far as my house is concerned. All I need to do now is paint and put things back where they belong and well it’ll be home again. Before the shady bitches, the mangy mutts, and the darkness that loomed over me for so long.
Well it was a busy day. They left about 8 pm, which gave me exactly an hour or so to pack, shower, and try to simulate some type of organization in my life before I slept. I had to get up and drive to my hometown, and see my favorite country artist.
I won tickets to see Tim McGraw again…this time with his wife. Their Soul2Soul tour!! I was excited because I was able to fulfill a childhood promise to my best friend of 25+ years. I vowed to her when we were in 6th/7th/8th?? grade, I would take us to go see his sexy ass in concert. I felt obligated to fill my promise and did so. While we sat in an unfortunate place (so high we could probably have touched the ceiling of the place if either of us were tall enough — or so it seemed), but they were free tickets and it was a sold out show. It was only the 3rd show on their world wide tour.
Either way, we had a great time. She enjoyed herself. Even though the stair height that we were at, was more than she was ready for. But thankfully, we were in the company of veterans, so I had more than enough help to get her down the high stairs. I’m sure someone grabbed a photo of it, but it wasn’t that isn’t the point. It’s my bestie. So she enjoyed herself.
