So in one hour, I’ll be 31 years old. I’ve done a lot in this past year. I’ve graduated college (officially turned in my last assignment today), I joined the greatest Sorority there is and became a sister to so many. I’ve gotten a pet, who even though he is really bad, i still love him. He’s my son. I’ve gotten closer with my family (my sister in particular). I’ve grown closer to her children and they have grown to love their aunt like no other. I miss them dearly but I know that before I turn 32, they will be closer and I’ll be able to spend my weekends with them and give my sister and her husband some QT time. I get to teach the boys more about football, and basketball. Introduce them to the Sigma way of life, and bring my niece into the Zeta way of life. I get to “force” them into becoming Vol and Panther fans!!
But this year I can say that I’ve done everything I’ve wanted to do this year. I attained the goals that I had set. I purchased a new vehicle that I’ve wanted. I got the bike that I wanted. Its like all the cards fell right into my lap just as I wanted them too.
Only thing that hasn’t fallen my way .. is real love. So close in the last few years, but still so far away. Some say I have far too many stipulations for the particular women I date, but what can I say? I refuse to settle for less than I deserve. And lets face it, if you have been in spartanburg, you know the quality of women here.
So with that said .. tomorrow’s events will be as followed..
11 am brunch at IHop
6 pm dinner at Thai Taste
7:30 – ??? Movies at Reserve at Park West Complex movie theater (yeah i love where I live)
Bring a friend, its an adult affair from dinner on, I will be drinking. If you will be drinking, please bring a designated driver or plan to crash on the floor/couch/bathroom/where ever. All my people will be going home safely.
I will be accepting gifts (though not required).
