It’s OVER BITCHES!!!

Well, those cheating ass Huskies have been dethroned. I’ve never been a fan of them, and not because I’m a huge Tennessee fan, but I just think that they are seriously OVER-FUCKING-RATED!!

I mean, you play in a bullshit ass conference first off. You started in the Big East…which had really only one good opponent (Rutgers and they stayed two years before jumping ship) then you have the remainder of schools.

  • Univ. of Central Florida
  • Univ. of Cincinnati
  • Univ of Connecticut
  • East Carolina Univ.
  • Univ. of Houston
  • Univ. of Memphis
  • Univ. of South Florida
  • Southern Methodist Univ.
  • Temple Univ.
  • Tulane Univ.
  • Univ. of Tulsa

Now granted..yes these are D1 schools, but do you really think these schools are getting top 4-5 star rated women’s basketball players?? So yes, of course when you are the only school in your conference getting these type of players you will run all over your conference year after year after year after year. No one in your conference is going to give you any real competition. I’ve never even heard of Southern Methodist … I only know about Memphis because De’Angelo Williams went there, I had an ex who attended Cincinnati, and Temple bc Dawn Staley used to coach there before she came to a real conference in the SEC.

So now, their “win” streak is over. Let’s look truthfully at how they got there though…most of their wins came against schools in their conference. See below

So you can see that the average of points that they beat their conference opponents is 40.5 points.  But when you look at when they played great schools like Notre Dame, South Carolina, Maryland, Baylor, LSU (just to name a few), they only won by small margins (with 19 being the highest of these named). They had to play formidable opponents, and most likely needed the help of the refs to get those “calls” to get them to the free throw line to make those points.

So do they deserve to be called the “greatest ever” HELL FUCKING NO.  I say bring that bullshit play to the SEC and see what a real conference is like. I guarantee they won’t “run through” it like they do their own bullshit conference. Why, because we play tough schedules, real teams, and get it done.  We don’t down talk women coaches (yes the man did that), we accept everyone, and we are the best. Simply put!!

So here’s to an All-SEC conference title game. I’m rooting for South Carolina. Next to Tennessee, they are my next favorite team.
